This last weekend I lost my favorite pair of sunglasses.  I thought for sure I knew exactly where I had placed them, then when I went back to get them, they weren’t there.   But this got me thinking, as a person who continually misplaces his keys, how come someone hasn’t come up with a product that allows us to personally tag our more expensive items with RFID chips that we could track and locate via a small device?

The concept is simple really.  A gps enabled device that comes with a set of RFID stickers.  You place the stickers on the items that you lose most often and then sync the sticker on that item with the device.  That way if you lose or misplace the item, it can be found with a push of a button.

If only….then I would still have my sunglasses that I paid  too much for and will probably do so again.
